This is a BIG question. It’s a question I ask myself regularly, and always seem to find new answers to: I’m a dad, a friend, a brother, a son, a teacher, a student, a fool, a philosopher, an entertainer, and many other things.
Here and now though, as I’m writing this to you, I’m a Caregiver Consultant. I work with Parents and Caregivers to help them with the most important job they’ll ever have, raising good humans.
I’ve worked with families for about twenty years, supporting parents and kids dealing with Mental Health issues, Developmental Disabilities, and Behavioral Challenges. Along the way I got an Honors degree in Applied Psychology, worked as a Kinship Development Coordinator and Emotional Behavioral Specialist, became a Santa Claus portrayal artist, and spent some time in the circus as a Juggling Fool (no joke!).
And now, I’d like to offer my services to others who may need a hand with the hugely important task of raising their kiddos to be the best humans they can be!
I don’t have all the answers, but I’ve got a lot of good questions, and plenty of strategies to share with those who want a bit of guidance when times are tough. Because we all walk through life’s peaks and valleys, and I hope to help folks out of the valleys and onto the peaks by providing some suggestions, strategies, and support to navigate out of the valleys and up to the highest peaks possible.
So if you’d like some support, feel free to reach out–I promise to do my best to share some guidance that will help you with whatever situation you may be going through.
Peace,
Chris “Kringle” MacDonald
